T.J. Jones is known in the Chattanooga area for Mr. T’s Pizza and Ice Cream in Red Bank, as well as for several decades of work in the automated machinery business. Mr. Jones has wanted to open his own seafood company here for years, and was thrilled when Jeff Simmons agreed to assist him.
This is not a restaurant. This is a seafood market. We had a wonderful experience today being greeted and treated to samples galore. We could not resist getting the smoked salmon a dill sauce. We also got a key lime pie that was homemade and crab legs. Two lbs of mussels for under $15 we really enjoyed our experience and look forward to visiting again. We love supporting our locals. We paired this with bluff views fresh garlic bread and oddstory brewing sour. Nomnom
Very impressed with Chattanooga Seafood Company. Stopped by this afternoon and they recommended a shrimp that I had never heard of before. Absolutely delicious! Also had around a dozen different kinds of fish ranging from snapper to trout to catfish to halibut. Sampled some of their smoked salmon and it was amazing. Very friendly staff that gave some tips for cooking. So happy that Chattanooga has a great fresh seafood market!
Picked up a piece of Chilean sea bass and it was the best fish I’ve bought in the south. Super helpful workers that answered any questions. We will definitely come back for more
Nice to see a higher end seafood purveyor in chatt. I think they could cool it on a couple of the prices, but most things are pretty reasonable, especially for a newer and smaller business. Nice people, excellent smoked salmon, and good selection of fresh fish that will only get better as they mature. Looking forward to watching them grow.
Very fresh! So glad yall are in the neighborhood! Our halibut was delicious!
My husband purchased the Patagonian salmon and was advised to only season it with a little oil, salt, and pepper rather than his usual bourbon and brown sugar glaze. This was the best advice. The salmon just melted in your mouth. Amazing. We will be back for that and many more types of seafood. The owner is passionate and knowledgeable about seafood. Highly recommend.
